Working with Londyn on the first episode of Season One of Get Up & Shine! was incredible.
We filmed in a variety of locations over the course of many weeks. I was able to practice continuity and flow through a longer project such as this, having not filmed everything all at once.
This episode contained a mixture of real-world and virtual elements, considering that one of the main characters (Sunshine) is a puppet. To show her emotions and thoughts, I added thought bubbles + emoji next to her. By means of sound effects as well as these visual effects, I was able to make the character "come to life".
Overall, this episode was a new challenge, but also incredibly fun to work on. This is the beginning of the first season, and we plan on releasing future episodes in the near future.
